The Seasonal Flower Alliance is a project created by Erin of Floret Flower Farm, in which each week participants create bouquets from locally grown (from the garden or foraged) blooms. I absolutely love this idea! Here's what I foraged in the forest this week: ornamental crab apples, feral apple blossoms, native serviceberry and ivy. I also found some wild or feral Seal of Solomon in a parking lot, no less. Looking forward to this budding bouquet to open up during the week. I also picked up a nasty tick bite while foraging-be careful out there-make sure to check yourself!
