Fare Isle Thanksgiving Giveaway on Instagram @fareisle

For many of us, Thanksgiving day is spent in the heart of the home, the kitchen, prepping a festive feast with loved ones helping and sometimes (or often) sneaking tastes of each special dish.

Today we bring you a curated giveaway package in celebration of all of the home cooks out there, making the holiday meal from scratch and bringing together family and friends to give thanks around a plentiful table. The offerings in this gorgeous package are intended to make those moments even more special this year.

To start we have a beautiful hand turned walnut rolling pin from Rob Laliberte of WDWRK Small Wares Co. The feel of this rolling pin will have you whipping up copious amount of pies and biscuits. It a beautiful and functional kitchen tool you reach for again and again.

Next comes a jar of golden luscious raw honey from our friends Zak and Michelle at Rambler's Rest Apiary/Dancey Pants Disco. Their limited quantity liquid gold is hand harvested using sustainable practices in small batches from the hives of happy, well-cared for honey bees on the island of Nantucket. You can purchase their honey through Michelle's instagram account, @danceypantsdisco.

From Meg Farrell of Farrell & Co., we have a gorgeous set of hand dyed and tooled, leather coasters to keep your holiday table free from the dreaded drink ring and look damn sophisticated doing so.

And lastly from us, is a holiday package with the gourmand in mind. Our Nantucket herbs blend of rosemary, thyme, sage and oregano is my go to seasoning for the perfect stuffing/dressing. Use the mulling spices for a delicious mulled wine or cider to serve before dinner. The spicy tangy country mustard can be used to make luscious vinaigrette or glaze. A jar of our rich vanilla extract to flavor all of those pies and holiday desserts. Our cranberry chutney, made with maple syrup, orange, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg, is a must for the Thanksgiving table. And a pair of beeswax ball jar votives to keep the cook happy in the kitchen.

Fare Isle Summer Giveaway!!! Winner Chosen!!!

The summer season is getting into full swing here on this lovely little isle! Our stand at the Sustainable Nantucket Farmers and Artisans Market has been garnering a foodie following every Saturday. If you've had a chance to come see us there on Cambridge St. thank you so much for stopping by! Our Lemon Poppy Almond Cake has been a huge hit as I expected it would be (it's one of my family's favs), as well as the variety of preserves, spice blends and seasonings, raw foods and pastries offered each week.
To celebrate the season and to thank our fans we're pleased to announce this awesome giveaway of a large basket of some of our artisan offerings (pictured below). One winner will receive a basket full of one of each of the following Fare Isle artisan made products: Maple Nut & Seed Granola, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, Herbes de Provence Finishing Salt, our secret Culinary Seasoning Blend, Masala Black Chai Tea, Nantucket Strawberry Spoon Fruit, Nantucket Wild Blueberry Preserves, Miracle Healing Body Cream, Miracle Healing Lip Rescue, and a Nantucket Beach Treasure Keepsake Bottle. This package would retail for over $200! WOW! I could barely fit it all into the basket.

This giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who entered!

Note: my computer harddrive crashed last week-booo. So I had to pick a winner the old fashion way: draw a name from a hat. I wrote every entry on pieces of paper, folded them and tossed them up in my straw hat! Here's a picture of the drawing pool and the winner!

Also, I will set up a promo on my etsy shop tomorrow for 15% off all the handmade products for this week as a thank you to all of you who entered and shared, and for those who missed out on entering this great giveaway!

Congratulations to Jessica Sosbee! A fabulous local gal with a great artistic talent! Check out her artwork at the Sosbee Gallery and on her website. (I guess I can't add a link from my phone so I will link these as soon as I get to a real computer...look her up online though, and keep your finger crossed that my pictures and files can and will be recovered from my crashed harddrive-all the pics of my son since birth are on there-I can't even think about it)

Thank you all again for entering!

I'll leave you with some pictures of our farmers market display!
